1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of HQ Mortgages Ltd services. HQ Mortgages Ltd (Company No. NI721586) is an Appointed Representative of The Right Mortgage Ltd, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

2. Our Services

We provide mortgage and insurance advisory services including:

• Residential and buy-to-let mortgages
• Life insurance and protection products
• Fee-free advice on a whole-of-market basis

3. Fees and Charges

We do not charge broker fees for our standard services. We receive commission from lenders and insurance providers.

4. Your Obligations

You must provide accurate information and notify us of any changes to your circumstances.

6. Competition Terms & Conditions

The following terms apply to all competitions and prize draws run by HQ Mortgages Ltd:

6.1 Eligibility

• Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
• Only one entry per person is permitted per competition period.
• Employees of HQ Mortgages Ltd, The Right Mortgage Ltd, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.

6.2 Entry Requirements

• Step 1: Submit the competition entry form on our website with accurate contact details.
• Step 2: Book a free, no-obligation consultation appointment with one of our mortgage or insurance advisors.
• Step 3: Attend and complete the scheduled consultation appointment.
• Your entry is only valid and will only be included in the prize draw once all three steps above have been completed.
• Failure to attend a booked appointment, or cancellation without rebooking, will result in disqualification from the competition.
• Appointments must be attended before the competition closing date to be eligible for that draw period.

6.3 Prize Details

• Unless otherwise stated, the prize for our £250 Cash Giveaway is £250 cash.
• The prize will be paid directly to the winner's nominated UK bank account within 14 days of winner notification.
• The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered unless specified.
• HQ Mortgages Ltd reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if circumstances require.

6.4 Competition Period

• The current competition closes at 11:59pm on 31st March 2026.
• All three entry requirements (form submission, booking, and attending appointment) must be completed before the closing date.
• Entries or appointments completed after the closing date will not be considered for that competition period.
• Proof of submission is not proof of receipt. HQ Mortgages Ltd accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, or incomplete entries.

6.5 Winner Selection & Notification

• The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries (those who have completed all three entry requirements) received during the competition period.
• The winner will be notified by email and/or telephone within 7 days of the competition closing date.
• If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days of notification, HQ Mortgages Ltd reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
• The decision of HQ Mortgages Ltd is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

6.6 No Purchase Necessary

• Entry to our competitions is free and does not require you to take out any mortgage, insurance, or other financial product.
• Attending the consultation appointment is required for entry, but there is no obligation to proceed with any services offered by HQ Mortgages Ltd.
• Your chances of winning are not affected by whether or not you choose to use our services after your consultation.

6.7 Data Protection

• By entering the competition, you agree to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Your data will be used to administer the competition and, if you have given consent, to contact you about our services and future promotions.
• We will not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

6.8 General Conditions

• HQ Mortgages Ltd reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the competition at any time if circumstances beyond our control make this necessary.
• By entering, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
• These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.
